The most important thing to be able to do in Railway Empire is to use signals in the correct way. That’s the reason why here you’ll find out all you need to get started!
Make it one-way!
The worst thing you can do is use a single track for more than one train. Therefore you are recommended to do it dual-track one way. So in order to make a perfect one-way railway is to place the signals with the ⛔icon in front of it. That means that no train can go that way in that direction. Now place another signal on the other track in the other direction. Now you should be able to see the white and the black thing moving from left to right on one side and on the other side from right to left.
Junctions
In the world of railway empire, you might encounter some junctions. We recommend you place down a signal if the way of travel before the junction. This makes the train wait before the junction, therefore it won’t block the whole intersection and the whole system. Another thing is to place a signal to wait further, so the train can wait without blocking it.
Wait Signals
Another thing you can do with Signals on Railway Empire is to use them as a waiting zone. By doing that you’ll be able to place more than one, two, or three, trains on the same railway. Without any signal on the way to go all the trains will be blocked at the station or in any other zone.
